# Can I delete a conversation, and undo it?

Yes, if your role allows it — Owner and Admin can by default, and a custom role can be given “Delete conversations”. Open the conversation, press ⋯ at the top, then Delete conversation: its messages disappear for everyone on your team, nothing changes on the customer’s phone, and their next message starts a new conversation. For 15 minutes, Undo on the “Conversation deleted” message brings it back whole; to take a conversation out of your list without deleting anything, use Mark resolved instead.
