# How do I save replies we send again and again?

Write them once under Settings → Quick replies, each with a title and a short shortcut such as rent. In a conversation, type / followed by the shortcut — or press ⚡ beside the paperclip — and press Enter to put the text in the reply box; {{name}} becomes the customer’s name. A quick reply can also carry one photo (JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB) or document (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or text, up to 25 MB): picking it attaches the file with the text as its caption, which WhatsApp keeps to 1,024 characters, and you can remove the file before sending. Nothing is sent until you press Send, so the 24-hour rule is unchanged. Owners, admins and anyone whose role includes creating quick replies add, edit and order them; everyone who can reply can use them.
