# What can each role do?

Owner and Admin can do everything — quick replies, the greeting and away messages and the AI assistant included — except that only an Owner pays for the plan, hands over ownership or deletes the workspace. An Agent answers customers — replies, notes, labels, assigns and resolves, using the quick replies already saved — but cannot start a conversation, create templates or change the quick replies. A Viewer reads conversations, templates and numbers and cannot write anything. A custom role can be given any of these one by one, including Billing: choosing a plan, paying and seeing invoices.
