# How do I stop or allow marketing for a number myself?

Open the menu under your initials and choose Opted out (it is also a tab on the Broadcast page). Everyone who can read conversations can see the list. Stop marketing to a number takes any number, whether or not it has written to you. Allow marketing again, beside a customer, lifts their opt-out once you tick that they asked to receive offers again; your name and the time are recorded with it. In a conversation, Opt out and Opt back in under Marketing messages do the same for that customer. Neither sends the customer anything, and both need a role that can manage contacts.
