# Free WhatsApp QR code generator

Turn your WhatsApp chat link into a QR code that a phone camera opens in one tap, for a shop counter, a clinic reception, a menu, a flyer or a poster. The code is drawn in your browser as a sharp SVG you can download, or as a PNG; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

## Print it so it scans

Print the code at least two and a half centimetres wide for a counter or a table, larger for a poster read from across a room, and keep dark modules on a light background with a quiet margin around it. Test it with two or three phones before you print a whole batch.

## What happens when someone scans it

The phone opens WhatsApp with a chat to your number and your message already typed, and the customer presses send. With GoPromoteNow, that message lands in your shared inbox like any other, your greeting can answer straight away, and whoever is on duty picks it up in your business's name.
